INFORMATION

This section contains information from a variety of sources on a range of topics.  You can choose from the menu on the right for more detail on specific subjects.  This resource will be expanded gradually, and especially in response to members’ comments.

Our members have said that having information about older age is crucial to coping with changes in lifestyle, health and mobility.  More and more older people are familiar with computer technology and with the great opportunities there are for engaging with the wider world, and especially the vast stores of knowledge and experience which can be found through the internet.

One of the great advantages of having a website is that Christians on Ageing is able to make direct contact not just with its own members but with thousands of others who might be interested in who we are and what we are trying to do on behalf of the Churches.  It is also a means of inviting both members and interested visitors to contribute to debates and discussions about important issues affecting the lives of older people.

Christians on Ageing intends building this Information bank on its website as an essential tool for the exploration of some of the demanding matters the Churches are having to consider these days, especially in relation to dying and end of life issues generally.   Follow the links and see the pages of Timely Topics.
