Christians on Ageing is a Resource to the Churches

  • improving understanding on issues that matter
  • providing a link between the denominations
  • contributing to innovation in work with dementia
  • responding to enquiries on age and ageing
  • unlocking the talent and experience of older people
  • seeking dialogue between people of faith and wider society

Christians on Ageing identifies issues of current concern to older people and seeks to provide a Christian perspective in providing responses to need.  You will find all the areas of Christians on Ageing’s interest in the pages of this website.  You will find links to other sites which provide information, advice and support on a variety of topics.  You will find short articles dealing with some of the issues everyone is having to face, individually and as a society, given the greater health of most people in older age, the extension of life expectancy, the constraints in public financing of care, and the emerging demands of conditions such as dementia.

Christians on Ageing is a bridge builder

  • between people of faith and wider society
  • between the Christian denominations, and
  • between them and people of other religious traditions and cultures.
